Disclaimer

Important information about the content on this website and the limits of what it represents.

Last updated: 10 July 2026

This Disclaimer applies to the website at example.com (the “Site”), operated by Product Engineering (“we”, “us”, “our”). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. General Information Only

The content on the Site is provided for general informational and promotional purposes only. While we make reasonable efforts to keep the content accurate and current, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the Site or its content for any purpose. Any reliance you place on the content is at your own risk.

2. No Legal, Regulatory, or Compliance Advice

Product Engineering is a software design and development company. We are not a law firm, regulatory consultancy, auditor, or certification body. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, regulatory, or compliance advice, and no content on the Site should be used as a substitute for advice from qualified professionals familiar with your organisation and jurisdiction.

3. References to Compliance Frameworks and Standards

The Site may refer to various laws, regulations, and standards, such as GDPR and SOC 2. With respect to all such references, please note:

  • These references describe frameworks that inform our engineering, security, and development practices. They indicate that we design and build software with awareness of the requirements these frameworks impose on our clients.
  • These references are not certifications, accreditations, registrations, or endorsements, and they are not a representation or guarantee that we, the Site, or any software we develop is compliant with any particular law, regulation, or standard.
  • We do not currently hold a SOC 2 attestation report. References to SOC 2 describe our familiarity with SOC 2 control criteria and our ability to engineer software that supports our clients' own SOC 2 programmes.
  • Regulatory responsibility rests with the client. Whether and how a law, regulation, or standard applies to a given product depends on the product, its use, its users, and the client organisation's role (for example, as a data controller, data processor, or data fiduciary). Achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance for any product is the responsibility of the client organisation, supported by its own legal, regulatory, and quality functions. Where an engagement requires us to access regulated personal data, such access takes place only under written agreements executed for that engagement, such as a data processing agreement under the GDPR, and our specific compliance obligations in such cases are set out exclusively in those agreements.

4. Case Studies, Figures, and Testimonials

Case studies, project summaries, and testimonials on the Site are illustrative and current only as at the “Last updated” date above. They describe specific past engagements under specific conditions. Past performance and outcomes described on the Site are not a guarantee, warranty, or prediction of the outcome of any future engagement, and results will vary based on factors specific to each project.

5. No Client Relationship

Viewing the Site, contacting us, or submitting an enquiry through the Site does not create a client, contractual, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and us. A relationship arises only upon execution of a written agreement signed by both parties.

6. Third-Party Names and Trademarks

All third-party product names, company names, framework names, standards, and logos referenced on the Site, including the names of operating systems, platforms, and technologies such as Windows, macOS, Linux, and similar, are the property of their respective owners. References to them are for identification and descriptive purposes only and do not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from their owners, or from any government or regulatory authority.

7. External Links

The Site may link to external websites that are not provided or maintained by us. We do not guarantee the accuracy, relevance, timeliness, or completeness of any information on external websites, and linking does not imply endorsement.

8. Errors, Omissions, and Changes

The Site may contain technical inaccuracies, typographical errors, or outdated information. We may change, update, or remove content at any time without notice and without any obligation to update previously published material.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Product Engineering shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content. The limitations and exclusions of liability set out in our Terms of Use apply to this Disclaimer.
